Conservation

Washington, PA Bassmasters contributes to the conservation of our state's lakes.  We are supporters of catch and release conservation.

In past years, we've constructed the Cross Creek Park pavilion and refurbished the the Cross Creek pontoon boat.  We're also continuing to work with local, state and federal political officals in attempts to get Dutch Fork Lake fixed.

Cross Creek Conservation Project

We've been committed to working with the Pennsylvania Fish Commision on a 10 year habitat construction project at Cross Creek Lake.  This project is scheduled for completion by 2008.  In 2005, we placed over 200 Christmas trees into the lake to improve the fish habitat.
